A little more room to understand
We build tools that let people adapt information to the way they read and understand.
Why Cognitle exists
Digital information reaches people with different reading preferences, different devices, and different amounts of time. A fixed presentation can make the same words easier for one reader and harder for another.
Cognitle starts with a simple idea: readers should have control over how information is presented to them.
Our first product: Reader
Cognitle Reader turns text into a single portable HTML file. Its reading controls travel with the content, so recipients can choose typography, colours, reading sections, and focus tools.
The creator runs in your browser. The exported document can be read without an account, an extension, or an internet connection.
Built around reader choice
- Adaptable: useful defaults with room for individual preferences.
- Portable: content and reading controls in one file.
- Local processing: text is prepared on the creator’s device.
- Clear limits: reading preferences support choice; they are not a diagnosis or a promised learning outcome.
Where we are today
Reader v0.1 is a beta. We are refining its usability and compatibility before a wider release. The accessibility page explains the features and remaining validation work.
